On December 12, 2019, Weintraub Zolkin Talerico & Selth LLP, confirmed the Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization of Centinela Valley Endoscopy Center. The bankruptcy case was caused by the entry of a judgment against the company by a former employee who refused to settle the judgment for a reasonable sum. The Center has been in business since 2003, providing much needed medical services to the underserved community of Inglewood, California. The employee threatened to put the Center out of business. The judgment was in the amount of $405,034.55. The bankruptcy plan reduces the judgment to $150,000 payable in monthly installments over four years, allowing the Center to continue in business.
